But other than being careful and doing due diligence landwatch has been a great tool.
Are there any other websites like landwatch? I'm currently using landwatch.com to search for land in my home state of georgia. It is high desert at 4,000 feet so the winters and summers are not terrible. When a property becomes delinquent in tax payments, the county reclaims the property and auctions.
Recently i've been finding more on zillow if you're looking for smaller parcels. I'm in the stage where i currently homestead vicariously through this sub and other online resources, but www.landwatch.com seems to be a great site for land and such. I would caution that i've also seen more than. I've been on the search for a small piece of land.
Mexico is right there for cheap medications and dental.
Has anyone used landwatch to buy their homestead? This advice applies to usa only. Even if you don't trust it to find land, you can use it to locate the cheaper areas of each.
